If you have been following along then you are well aware of the ups and downs of my business the last few years. The fact is covid was hard, but these economic down turn and crippling inflation is murder.
I provide a very luxury service.
Photography is a want not a need.
We can live with out professional photographs… we can not live without affordable housing, food, water, clothing, healthcare, and transportation.
Because of insane inflation costs luxury services have experienced harder times simply because in a struggle to survive luxury is always cut from the menu. My business is no different, yes I have some events and bookings but not as many as I would hope for.
More and more my business is becoming part time and potentially back to hobbyist hours because of low bookings. It is what it is.
I want my clients to be able to afford life, I want to be able to afford it too. So as a business I take what I can get and its fine one day we will weather this storm or decide its not worth the stress anymore. Today however we are looking at finding fun a job to support these insane inflation costs, provide an outlet to destress from running a business and will allow me to just take the business one day at a time.
